Our Mission
Giving homeless dogs a second chance, my one-acre, fully fenced facility provides a safe place for dogs facing euthanasia and those who have shut down in shelter environments. Here, they are given the time and space to decompress, build confidence, enjoy playgroups with other dogs, and learn how to simply be dogs again.
Adoption Policy
I do have an adoption questionnaire that all potential adopters are asked to fill out. Completing the form doesn’t automatically guarantee adoption, and adopters will also need to be comfortable with a home check.
For anyone who lives out of town or out of state, I do require that they travel here to meet the dog in person. I’m not comfortable sending a dog to someone based only on a photo and the hope that it will be a good fit. I know these dogs, their personalities, and their individual needs, so it’s important to me to see how the dog and potential adopter interact.
Ultimately, this is the home the dog will have for the rest of their life. I want to make sure the placement feels right for both the adopter and, most importantly, the dog.
