PAWS of Chinook
Our Mission
PAWS of Chinook fills a need in the community by spreading the spay/neuter word, and encouraging responsible pet ownership. We take in dogs that are strays and owner surrenders, and work to find new homes for them. We do it because we care about companion animals, and want them to have the best life possible in a responsible, loving home. We do not have facilities for cats.
We appreciate donations, and with more funds, we can save more animals. We'd also love more volunteers and foster homes. Toys, walking dogs, whatever you can do to help would be appreciated!
Adoption Policy
We are looking for great homes for our dogs. Maybe your home? Our basic adoption process begins with a visit to our shelter. Our volunteers are happy to introduce you to any dog you'd like to meet.
We require an adoption application to be filled out that describes your home situation and why you want to adopt. The application includes a number of questions that help us to get to know you, to determine your situation, and whether the dog would fit into that situation.
Once the dog has been vaccinated, fixed, and checked by our vet, you and your new best friend can start your new life together!
The adoption donation is currently $175.
