Our Mission
Hoofbeats and Pawprints Rescue (HPR) works to help homeless pets by first providing safe shelter and care, then by finding placement opportunities either locally or in other communities through our transport program. HPR works with other area animal shelters, rescues, individuals, pet owners and law enforcement agencies to help place homeless pets and decrease the need for euthanasia of shelter pets and increase opportunities for successful placement of adoptable pets.
Adoption Policy
Example of wording:I, the undersigned adopter, certify that I am above the age of 18. I am adopting this cat to be a companion that will be treated as a member of my family. I will provide this cat with safe and adequate housing, nutritious food and fresh water every day. I will provide any needed veterinary care to ensure the health of my cat. I understand that this cat may live up to 15 years or longer and that in his/her older years that he/she will love me just as much and will need me even more.
I own my home or if renting, I certify that I do have permission from my landlord to have this cat. I also certify that other any other people and cats in my household will welcome this cat into our home. I agree that I will not move to any place where my cat is not welcome to live with me. I will not allow this cat to roam free near any roadway and will protect my cat from other dangerous situations.
