Our Mission

OUR MISSION: We are here to help save the lives of companion animals in need. Those who are homeless; the abused or abandoned; the neglected and unloved, and to show them human compassion and kindness, ultimately helping them become valued family members in a loving home. OUR VISION: We envision the day where every adoptable companion animal has the opportunity of finding a responsible, loving home. A world where pets are no longer mistreated, abused or abandoned.

Adoption Policy

Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet through The Rescue Crew! Your desire to provide a loving forever home to a rescued animal helps us in our shared goal to “Save a Life Today.” We are a completely volunteer-run, foster-based rescue, which means all of our animals live in home environments—not kennels—while they await adoption. This allows us to learn as much as possible about each pet’s personality, preferences, and needs so we can help make the best possible match for both the animal and the adopter. Our adoption process may take a little time, and you might notice we ask a lot of questions. That’s because we want to ensure a lasting and happy match for everyone involved. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers—these questions simply help us guide you toward the pet who will fit best with your family, lifestyle, and expectations. Many of the animals who come into our care have faced hardship, uncertainty, or even the risk of euthanasia. Our mission is to give them a second chance—and to place them in loving, responsible, lifelong homes where they can finally feel safe and secure. If you see an animal you’re interested in, please submit an application through our website at www.rescuecrew.org/adoption-basics as soon as possible. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it will help ensure your place in line for that animal—or another pet who might be a perfect match.
