Bean's Story

About Me

If you are looking for a bundle of joy to brighten your home, look no further than Bean. This sweet, spunky girl is the definition of a happy cat. Despite being blind in one eye, she doesn't let it slow her down for a second—she is a master of living life to the fullest. She is an absolute sweetheart who is incredibly friendly and gets along with just about everyone she meets. She has a motor-like purr that kicks in the moment you start petting her, and she will happily soak up all the affection you have to give. Bean is a high-energy girl who loves to stay active. Her favorite game is chasing a ball, and she is famous for her daily "zoomies," where she dashes around the house with pure, infectious excitement. Bean definitely has a playful, mischievous streak! She loves to give little "love bites" to hands and legs, and she has a hilarious, full-blown obsession with hair. Whether she loves it or is trying to conquer it, she goes absolutely crazy for it every time. Bean is truly a special, one-of-a-kind companion. If you are looking for a cat who is as loving as she is entertaining, look no further, Bean is ready to find her forever home!

WHERE IS THIS PET LOCATED? The Rescue Crew's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet through The Rescue Crew! Your desire to provide a loving forever home to a rescued animal helps us in our shared goal to “Save a Life Today.” We are a completely volunteer-run, foster-based rescue, which means all of our animals live in home environments—not kennels—while they await adoption. This allows us to learn as much as possible about each pet’s personality, preferences, and needs so we can help make the best possible match for both the animal and the adopter. Our adoption process may take a little time, and you might notice we ask a lot of questions. That’s because we want to ensure a lasting and happy match for everyone involved. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers—these questions simply help us guide you toward the pet who will fit best with your family, lifestyle, and expectations. Many of the animals who come into our care have faced hardship, uncertainty, or even the risk of euthanasia. Our mission is to give them a second chance—and to place them in loving, responsible, lifelong homes where they can finally feel safe and secure. If you see an animal you’re interested in, please submit an application through our website at www.rescuecrew.org/adoption-basics as soon as possible. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it will help ensure your place in line for that animal—or another pet who might be a perfect match. Thank you for choosing adoption and for helping us continue our lifesaving work. Together, we’re giving hope and homes to animals who need them most.
