Our Mission
There are thousands of homeless animals in Oakland County, who spend days without food, water, or shelter. Our shelter is utilized for those animals to be provided with vet care, love, and nutrition to match them with their forever homes. A major reason for animals being homeless is a direct result in lack of spaying/neutering pets to prevent the growing problem of animal overpopulation. Licensing your pets is also a great way to ensure that they won't become homeless too if they should ever get lost.
Adoption Policy
If you are interested in one of our animals, please feel free to pop in whenever we are open! We stop adoptions 30 minutes before close, so we have ample time to go over paperwork. We have applications on site that are approved on the spot when you are fully ready to take home the animal. For dogs, we do require a meet n greet with all humans and canines that reside in the house. For cats, we require a meet with at least the youngest member of the household but encourage you bring the whole family. Any of our animals that are available for adoption, but not spayed/neutered, can be adopted but will remain in the shelter until they are fixed. All of our cats are $25 and dogs are $40.
Our building number is 42E.
