Our Mission
Paws From Afar is a 501 (c)3 foster-based non-profit organization serving New England that is dedicated to saving and finding homes for dogs that are in danger of abandonment, abuse or euthanasia.
?Our rescue primarily focuses on saving the most vulnerable dogs, seniors, injured, heartworm positive, death row and puppy mill dogs.
We are the voice for the voiceless.

Adoption Policy
Our dogs are rescued from some of the most horrible conditions that can be imagined from either Houston or rural southern shelters. The goal is to get them vetted, transported and to their forever home as soon as possible. You will most likely NOT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY to meet your fur baby prior to adoption. Kindly be aware of this prior to processing your adoption. The shelter manager is more than happy to speak with you to share any and all information that we know about our dogs. Thank you!
