Our Mission
Woodford Humane Society is a 501c3 nonprofit serving the homeless animals of Central Kentucky since 1975! We place no limits on breed, age, or length of stay, and are proud to maintain a placement rate of over 95%. Our goal is to provide the very best temporary home for as long as it takes for their forever home to come along.

An approved adoption application is required for ALL adoptions - submitting an inquiry through a pet's listing is not equivalent, nor does it place a pet on hold. Some adoptions will require home visits.
