Our Mission
At Furever Brooke Haven, Inc., our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs, cats, and other small companion animals from high kill shelters and underserved rural areas impacted by overpopulation and inadequate animal control laws. We are committed to providing essential veterinary care, safe foster housing, and partnerships with approved rescue organizations to ensure every animal has the best chance at a loving, permanent home. Through community education, spay and neuter initiatives, and advocacy for humane treatment, we work to promote responsible pet ownership and create a safer, more compassionate world for animals in need.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is designed to ensure every animal is placed in a safe, responsible, and loving home.
Home checks are required for all adoptions to confirm that the environment is suitable and secure. Any current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, and up to date on heartworm prevention. Proof of home ownership or written landlord permission is required before an adoption can be approved.
We also require a valid driver’s license and the last four digits of the adopter’s Social Security number for verification. All adopters must review and sign an adoption contract before taking their new pet home.
