Our Mission
Kentuckiana Animal Rescue Organization (KARO) is a nonprofit, all-breed animal rescue. A foster-based group, KARO rescues and rehabilitates homeless and special needs animals until they find suitable forever homes.

KARO is solely foster-based, so we do not have a physical location. However, we hold adoption events every Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. at Poe's Pet Depot in Louisville, KY.
