Our Mission
“Rescued Right the First Time."
At The Red Dog Rescue, we go beyond rescue. Our mission is to prepare every dog for a successful, permanent home through intentional training and careful matching. Because when dogs are set up for success, they don't come back—they stay home, where they belong.
Adoption Policy
We have an extensive adoption application for each dog. Each application must be filled out entirely. We reserve the right to decline your interest in an adoptable dog at any point. We place each dog in a home where the adopter is already living the lifestyle the dog needs. We do a 1 on 1 meet and greet first. Next we do an in adopters home meet and greet to evaluate how the dog will do in their potential home, and routine. We ensure they have appropriate space etc.
We then have adoptions pending on sleepover or trial period going well with the adopter to ensure its a good fit and nobody is rushed or pressured.
