IndyCLAW Rescue

IndyCLAW Rescue Inc & Sanctuary is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that specializes in rabbit rescue and adoption. The CLAW in our name is an acronym for Creating Life-long Animal Welfare. We maintain a list of rabbit surrenders as our space is limited, there is a surrender fee depending on circumstance; most of our rabbits come from nearby animal shelters or humane societies with euthanasia policies. All incoming rabbits are spayed/neutered, litterbox trained, socialized and vetted, as needed, before being made available for adoption. Our adoption process includes an adoption application; if approved, a visit would be scheduled at the shelter where you would meet the rabbits available and making your selection. An appointment would be made for a home visit and delivery of your selected companion; as such, we can only adopt within time and distance limitations.
