Tracking In The Shadows - Rescuing Lost Dogs

Rescue/Shelter Description Tracking In The Shadows is a volunteer-run dog rescue based in northern Indiana dedicated to helping lost, abandoned, and at-risk dogs find safe, loving homes. Our rescue specializes in recovering lost and fearful dogs that many others cannot safely approach. Using humane trapping, field tracking, and patient rehabilitation, we give these dogs a second chance at life. Many of the dogs we rescue would otherwise remain lost, frightened, or overlooked — and watching them learn to trust again is the heart of our mission. The dogs that come into our care are often strays, displaced pets, or dogs from overcrowded shelters who need time, stability, and training before they are ready for adoption. Every dog in our care is fully vetted, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and placed on monthly preventatives before adoption. Many of our dogs also participate in professional training programs to help them succeed in their future homes. www.trackingintheshadows.com
