Our Mission

NOTE: To ensure quick responses to all questions and inquiries, please either inquire directly from the page of the pet you are interested in, or send an email to -- We are short staffed due to the current pandemic situation and this is the easiest way to keep in touch at this time. Thank you!!

We serve the south suburbs of Chicago to assist in TNR (trap-neuter-release) education. We also take in orphaned kittens, bottle babies and momma cats with the goal of sterilization, socialization and adoption into loving homes whenever possible. We believe in helping our communities support outdoor feral cat populations through proper veterinary care, sterilization to prevent future litters, and education to the communities these colonies are in.

We charge modest adoption fees to help offset the costs of supplies, veterinary care and spay/neuter surgeries. All animals adopted through URPR are microchipped, sterilized and vaccinated prior to adoption.

We also offer a working cat/ "barn cat" program! This program offers sterilized, vaccinated cats that are too fiesty to be placed in homes that would be ideal in an outdoor setting for pest control. These cats must be provided with outdoor shelter, food and water. Our working cats have no adoption fees. If you are interested in adopting working cats for your property, send us an email at !
