Adoption Policy
Our Requirements To Adopt
You and everyone in the household have discussed and are prepared (physically, emotionally, and financially) for the addition of a companion animal into your lives and home.
You must be at least 18 years old to adopt an animal from our facility.
You must have permission from your landlord and all applicable deposits must be paid before we will approve your application.
You must have permission from your parents if you live at home before we will approve your application.
You must provide a veterinarian reference if you have other animals or have had previous animals.
All your animals must be up-to-date on vaccinations.
A “meet and greet” is required if you adopt a dog and already have another dog.
We are a volunteer organization and we strive to approve applications quickly.
