Our mission is to provide compassionate veterinary care while offering a safe, responsible pathway to rehome animals in need. We are committed to improving animal welfare in our rural communities by ensuring every pet receives proper medical care and is placed in a suitable, loving home.
Adoption Policy
Application & Screening:
Prospective adopters are required to complete an adoption application. Applications are reviewed to ensure the home environment, lifestyle, and expectations are appropriate for the specific animal.
Meet-and-Greet:
Adopters may be required to meet the pet prior to approval.
Adoption Fees:
Adoption fees are required and help offset the cost of veterinary care, including vaccinations, testing, and medical treatment.
Medical Care:
All animals are examined by a veterinarian prior to adoption and receive age-appropriate vaccinations and testing. Spay/neuter is performed prior to adoption when possible, or a contract is required to ensure completion.
Adopter Responsibilities:
Adopters must agree to provide proper veterinary care, nutrition, housing, and a safe environment for the lifetime of the pet.
Return Policy:
If an adopter is no longer able to care for the pet, the animal must be returned to our clinic or we must be contacted to assist with rehoming.
