We are a small volunteer based organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitation and adopting abused, neglected or unwanted Akitas in Georgia and the surrounding areas. Please note that email is the best way to contact us!

Adoption Policy

We a small group of dedicated volunteers. Please note that email will always be the best way to reach us. We work full time jobs, and we have certain individuals tasked with returning phone calls; however, it can take at least 24 hours for us to return your call. Please email jenna@georgiaakitarescuedivision.or Also, the adoption process can take up to 2-3 weeks while we finalize details. Please know we will process your application as quickly as possible. We are a small donation based public charity that depends on our donors.
