Our Mission
Our mission is to find long lasting homes for unwanted pets. The Metter Animal Shelter has been here for over 40 yrs. We have a full time caretaker and volunteers that work in the shelter.
Adoption Policy
Dog adoption is $40.00, comes with 5 way vaccine, microchip, and deworming. Cat Adoption is $20.00, comes with microchip and deworming. A discount form for altering for in network Veterinarians will be provided for dogs and cats. All fees must be paid at City Hall except Saturdays and events.
