Our Mission
Save A Pet, Inc. (SAP), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit volunteer organization funded by private donations. Our mission is to offer care for abused, neglected, unwanted or homeless animals until they can be placed in suitable loving permanent homes. We provide safe shelter, food, medication and veterinary care for animals in our care and all are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. We set no time limits on animals waiting for adoption; we do not euthanize to make room for more. Our goal is to help bring an end to animal suffering and overpopulation through educating the public on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership and humane treatment of animals.

**ADOPTION EVENTS**
Adoption Days are held every first and third Saturday of the month at PetSmart, Macon GA from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Â Please call 478-994-3882 (voicemail box) or E-mail saveapetincweb@gmail.com for our monthly newsletter or to volunteer. Â Any day with the dogs is a great day! Â
Adoption fees start at $150.00 which includes spay/neuter, micro-chip, current on all shots, and heart worm prevention. Â We require a fenced yard for most of our dogs and would like for them to share the home with their adoptive family. Â We want the dog's FOREVER HOME to be the best that it can be. Â E-mail us for an adoption application and directions to our shelter in Forsyth, GA. Â We show dogs at the kennel by appointment only. Â
In 2012, SAP was able to purchase 10 acres of land to build a new rescue shelter at 618 Maynard Church Road, Forsyth GA 31029. Construction began in the fall of 2013 and we moved in
