Our Mission
K9 Coop is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization dedicated to helping displaced and vulnerable dogs find safe, permanent, and loving homes. Our efforts focus on rescuing dogs from life-threatening or neglectful situations and providing the medical care, treatment, and rehabilitation they need to thrive.
Adoption Policy
K9 Coop strives to match each dog with the best possible forever home. All prospective adopters must complete an adoption application and participate in a screening process, which may include reference checks, a home environment assessment, and an interview to ensure the dog’s needs align with the adopter’s lifestyle.
Adopters are required to agree to our spay/neuter policy and, if applicable, sign a binding spay/neuter agreement before placement. All adopted dogs must be provided with appropriate veterinary care, including vaccinations, parasite prevention, and ongoing medical attention as needed.
We maintain a supportive relationship with adopters after placement, offering guidance and assistance to ensure the dog’s successful transition into their new home.
