Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting a pug with the Pug Rescue of Florida. We are very excited that you are taking the time to help one of our many dogs find a forever home. Filling out an application is a must and first step to adoption with us. Please note, that we are all volunteers. If for some reason you have not been contacted as soon as you wished, please do not think this is a reflection on your application, but a mere part of the process as our volunteers are all working as fast as we can. We promise, we will get back to you via e-mail, on the phone, or via mail and let you know the status of your application, if you are or are not a candidate for adoption of a rescue pug, and the next step(s) in the process, if applicable. You can expect the process to take up to 2 weeks (sometimes longer) from receipt of application to the adoption of your dog, depending on the availability of pugs and whether or not a pug you are interested in i
