Our Mission
To educate the public on responsible dog ownership with emphasis on the Shiba Inu breed needs and to rescue, rehabilitate, foster and rehome Shiba Inu dogs, Shiba Mixes and other dogs in need through charitable and educational programs.
Shiba Saviors Rescue is a 501(c)(3) foster-based dog rescue dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need. We provide individualized care, medical treatment, behavioral support, and enrichment within foster homes to ensure each dog is prepared for a stable, permanent family. Our mission is to reduce euthanasia, promote responsible pet ownership, and give every dog a safe second chance.
Adoption Policy
We have an application, but will rely more on our interview and meet and greet to find suitable forever families for our dogs. Someone could appear fantastic on paper but just not be a great fit. Alternatively, someone can seem lacking on paper but be the most amazing home. There is no one size fits all on how the adoption approvals go.
