DCCR is about one thing: helping dogs in need! Douglas County Canine Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no kill, animal rescue. Our mission is to rescue abandoned puppies and dogs and place them in foster homes until they are adopted into the loving homes that they so deserve! Douglas County Canine Rescue does not have a facility. We rely solely on the kindness and generosity of animal lovers who open their hearts to help us take care of the animal orphans that desperately need help.

Please let your references know to respond in a timely manner. Please check your spam, promotions and social folders for emails from us. We are seeing several emails going to these folders and potential adopters are missing information therefore losing out on a dog adoption.
YOU MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED PRIOR TO A VIRTUAL MEET AND GREET.
