Our Mission
SNGSR is a fully volunteer run, foster based nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating & re-homing at-risk GSD’s from local shelters in Northern California.
Our Mission is to provide a sanctuary for abandoned, abused & dogs at risk of being EUTHANIZED throughout NORTHERN CALIFORNIA SHELTERS. Our goal is to place them in a permanent home that best suits each dog’s specific needs with qualified owners.
Adoption Policy
The SNGSR Staff will review your application. You will be contacted by phone or email from a SNGSR staff member (within 3-5 business days from the date the application was submitted). They will provide more information about SNGSR and may have additional questions and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
If the initial review of applications and phone interview are approved, SNGSR may schedule a home visit. If the home visit is approved, we will discuss which/what dog(s) you were interested in adopting and schedule a "Meet & Greet".
