Adoption Policy

We do adoptions same-day because most approved adopters are traveling from over 2 hours away, so I understand people appreciate it when I have my ducks in a row and I will be prepared with a decision before asking you to make a drive like that.

We've been operating since 2011 and are in the golden years as an organization. I, (Brandi) was in a car accident and ultimately lost a leg (over the course of the last 3.5 years)
I have been working towards starting a new program training service dogs so cannot devote as much time to rescue. We plan to remain in operation at minimal capacity, spending lots of quality time with our fosters and trainees instead of trying to save many dogs at once to keep people happy, and overlooking the experience for the dog.
