Our Mission
Baloo Sky Dog Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming neglected, abandoned, and at-risk dogs. We are committed to promoting compassionate care, responsible pet ownership, and the prevention of cruelty to animals through education, advocacy, and community support.
Adoption Policy
Baloo Sky Dog Rescue is committed to placing dogs in safe, stable, and loving homes through a thoughtful and transparent adoption process.
All potential adopters are required to:
Complete an adoption application/policy
Participate in an interview (phone or virtual)
Provide personal and veterinary references (if applicable)
Consent to a home check (virtual or in-person when appropriate)
We prioritize matching each dog’s temperament, medical needs, and energy level with the lifestyle and experience of the adopter. Our goal is to ensure long-term success for both the dog and the family.
All adopted dogs are:
Spayed or neutered (age-appropriate)
Vaccinated according to veterinary guidelines
Provided with full medical disclosure
We require adopters to:
Provide appropriate veterinary care
Keep dogs as indoor family members
Return the dog to Baloo Sky Dog Rescue if they are unable to keep them at any time
