Our Mission
Happiness Animal Rescue Alliance - Tails up! Happiness is here to stay
Bay Area adoptions, local and international rescues. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization run entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers (no paid staff, no wasted donations - we do everything with heart!) with a love for not only animals, but humans too! At HARA we do everything we can to make the adoption process enjoyable for you - What a rarity these days right? We go beyond just "adoption" and provide the knowledge necessary to ensure the happiness of both owners and pets, from first contact, to post adoption. We are there for you every step of the way.
Come find your happiness, and through yours, ensure the life-long happiness of an animal in need.
FOUNDED IN 2015
HARA is a marriage of three worlds. Our Adoptions Team comes from professional customer satisfaction backgrounds + Creative Team from professional design backgrounds + Rescue Team has experience with thousands (!) of successful rescues and rehabilitations. What do we have in common? We have high standards and do everything with heart. In starting HARA, we wanted to create an organization that goes beyond rescuing animals by carelessly adopting a high number out... We want to ensure the life-long happiness of both human and pet by:
- Focusing on high-kill shelters, adult dogs and rehabilitated dogs
- Making a careful match between human and pet
- Providing honest and thorough information on each animal
- Making the entire process friendly, enjoyable and educational
Your happiness, is theirs!
