Alljoy 4 Paws works towards saving huskies and other northern breeds in California shelters to find them forever homes. We are a foster-based program so the dogs we save will have an opportunity to live in a home environment with daily human interaction and love. We also help to find homes for huskies who are strays or those that need to be re-homed. We will also educate the public about ownership of huskies and the importance of spay and neuter.
Potential adopters must first submit an application for adoption. Once submitted, the application will be reviewed by our board members. During the review process, we may have some questions we need to ask, so one of the board members or volunteers will call you. We also require a home check to make sure the dog being adopted will have a safe and loving environment to call his/her forever home.
Our dogs will be microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date with vaccinations prior to adoption. If your application is approved and home check is passed with flying colors, we want to set up a meet and greet with your family (both human and four-legged members) with the dog being adopted to make sure everyone gets along. If all is well, then the dog will go home with the rest of the family to be love and spoiled forever!
