The Kern Project

The Kern Project is on a mission to save homeless dogs and cats of Kern County, CA through rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. The Kern Project rescues dogs and cats from the shelters and from the community, whether pulling them from a field where they have been intentionally dumped or supporting finders of strays. We provide the vet care, boarding and transportation to the Bay Area and beyond, where these unwanted dogs and cats are adopted into homes where they are loved as family members.
