To save dogs in Tehama County.
Adoption Policy
Adoption fees range between $50 and $150, depending on the age and size of the dog. Spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, flea treatment, dewormer, and microchip are all included.
Prospective adopters must agree to a home visit, have secure fencing and allow their dog to sleep inside at night. Those coming from out of town may submit a vet reference in place of a home visit. All renters need landlord approval.
If you already have a dog or two, they must be spayed/neutered and brought to the shelter for a meet and greet. Homes that already have more than two dogs, or any unaltered dogs, will not be considered.Â
Exceptions to these rules may be made in special circumstances.
