Rescuing Shelter Dogs From Being Put Down. Apart from being a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit, our organization is trusted in our community. We are a foster-based rescue. People know that we heal and train our dogs to build their confidence, so they can find a better furever home.
Adoption Policy
I have them fill out my foster/adoption contract and after receiving I call to vet them and understand their abilities and the type of dog they would like. We have a good hour long convo of everything from slow introductions, training, positive reinforcement, needs of the dog, and the adopters expectations. I either do a home check or ask for pictures of where the dog would be staying, sleeping, eating. Then we plan a meet and greet with adopter and adopters other animals or family members to see how the dog reacts. I want to set up my rescues for success and make sure it's a good fit for everyone.
