Our Mission
Chele’s Cat Care is a community-based nonprofit dedicated to the humane rescue, medical treatment, fostering, and placement of cats in need. Through compassionate intervention, responsible stewardship, and collaboration with community members and veterinary partners, we work to protect vulnerable cats, support the people who care for them, and promote lasting, ethical solutions that improve feline welfare and strengthen our community.
Adoption Policy
At Chele’s Cat Care, our goal is to place each cat in a safe, loving, and permanent home. We ask all adopters to share our commitment to a cat’s lifelong well-being.
Our cats are adopted as indoor-only companions to protect them from common outdoor dangers such as coyotes, owls, traffic, disease, and other hazards.
Adopters agree to provide responsible, compassionate care, including proper nutrition, a safe home environment, and regular veterinary care. Declawing is not permitted, as we are committed to each cat’s physical and emotional health.
If an adopter is ever unable to keep their cat, Chele’s Cat Care will always welcome the cat back. We never want one of our cats to end up abandoned or in a shelter.
