Our Mission
We are OCAPS – We’re a small county shelter with a big heart, working to give hope to the forgotten dogs of Ouachita County, Arkansas. Whether they’ve been lost, abandoned, or left behind, we’re here to make sure they’re safe, loved, and given the second chance they deserve.
Adoption Policy
Potential adopters can come to the shelter to meet the dogs. Once they pick a pup, they fill out an application. Please note: a vet reference and a home visit are part of the application process. If approved, an appointment is made at the vet of their choosing for the dog to be altered and/or recieve a rabies vaccine. They will be able to pick up the dog once it is ready to leave the vet. Adoption fees vary depending on if the pup has been spayed or neutered.
