Tails is a jack of all trades within the animal welfare community, we do it all. Rescue, rehab, medical, facilitate adoptions, have a sanctuary for hospice/senior *& troubled dogs. We are a legit NO KILL, full care organization. We specialize in medical animals, neglected animals, dogs labeled as non adoptable, those who need us the most. When you adopt from Tails you are absolutely, for certain "rescuing" saving a life that would not have stood a chance without us, without YOU . Our sanctuary is in Arkansas. Our adoption and foster program is in Illinois. We exclusively adopt out dogs in Illinois however we will facilitate out of state adoptions but applicants must meet pick up in Illinois. Events are held at Pet Supply Plus in LITH. We accept fosters anywhere in Illinois as well as Arkansas when our facility is full as long as one is able to meet us when needed. We maintain our license in Illinois & Arkansas, both.
