Our Mission
Lovable Feline Rescue of North Alabama is a safe haven for kittens and cats in need. We offer education on spaying and neutering and proper kitten and cat care. We help kitties in need with loving care and a safe place to stay until they are fully vetted, healthy and ready for their forever loving home.
Adoption Policy
We are very serious about finding the best homes for our kitties.
We require: an adoption application along with a home check and veterinary reference.
Our kitties are required to be INDOOR ONLY and can NOT be declawed. Doing either/both of the aforementioned is grounds for removal by and taking possession of the kitten/cat by LFRNA.
Once the potential adopter is approved, we allow a week long trial period. We will bring the kitty to the potential adopter's home at which time we will collect the adoption fee. During the trial period time if the kitty is not fitting in for any reason, the kitty comes back to us and the adoption fee is returned. After the week trial period if the kitty is going to be a good fit we finalize the adoption at that time. The new owner receives a binder with the kitty's picture, and adoption certificate and all the veterinary records, microchip information with free registration information and the date of the last Revolution treatment.
