Our Mission
The Greater Sudbury Animal Shelter provides a temporary home for dogs and cats found injured, abandoned or roaming at large in our community. Our goal is to reunite dogs and cats with their owners. If owners cannot be found, or decline to recover their pet, dogs and cats are adopted directly from the shelter or through a network of animal rescue and welfare partners.
Adoption Policy
We are seeking a suitable home for all of our animals. We require an application to ensure the animal will be a good fit for the potential adopter. We do not deny applications based on income, housing, etc. We prefer meet and greets with all members of the family, including other pets, to ensure it is a match.
