Niagara Dog Rescue

Niagara Dog Rescue is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs find a new home. We focus on dogs at immediate risk of being put down at high kill shelters and those living in deplorable conditions as strays. Any potential fosters or adopters are fully screened through vet, reference and home checks. Adoption fees are between $500-$900 (including GST) to help cover the cost associated with rescuing all of the dogs in our care. These fees cover the costs for vetting, boarding, transportation, spay/neuter, 4DX testing, rabies and DHPP vaccines and, in some cases microchips. All dogs will be up to date with their age-appropriate vaccinations, and sterilization (spay/neuter) will be carried out prior to adoption, except in instances where the treating veterinarian has advised that the dog is too young to undergo such a procedure. We do not have a facility.
