She is incredibly sweet, deeply loving with her people, and full of personality, but the world can feel like a very big and scary place to her. Birdie is fearful of the dark and of the unknown, and she finds comfort in familiarity and routine.

She walks nicely on leash but prefers a very specific route—once Birdie has a pattern, she feels safest sticking to it. Crowded or busy environments aren’t her thing, but give her a quiet, peaceful setting and she truly shines. A calm country life or low-traffic home would suit her beautifully.

Birdie’s quirks are what make her so endearing. She has a gentle soul, a sweet heart, and a surprisingly entertaining side—she genuinely enjoys watching TV and would happily keep you company for football or hockey nights. She thrives with someone patient, kind, and understanding who sees her sensitivities not as flaws, but as part of her charm.

Birdie has brought so much joy to her foster home, and she’s ready to do the same for the right person—someone who appreciates a loving, quirky companion and is willing to let her move through the world at her own pace.
