To try and rescue as many dogs as we can and adopt them to the best home possible where they will live with love, care and much joy!
Adoption Policy
An interested adopter first completes our adoption application. We then will contact them and chat more about which dogs might be a good match. After our conversation, we make an appointment for one of our volunteers to go to their home for a home visit. Then we make an appointment for them to meet the dog or dogs who would be a good match. Most people are very welcoming and receptive to our process. They appreciate that we know the dog and work very hard with matching them with the best "partner". If they meet the dog and would like to proceed with adoption. Depending on the dog's level of adaptability, we will have as many visits as it takes for the dog and people to feel really good about their choice. After the dog is placed in their home we will follow up and answer any questions that may come up etc. We look for the smoothest transition as possible. Everyone benefits with this method . A lot of our adopters become friends to us.
