The Cat's Sass Rescue
Our Mission
Our mission at The Cat's Sass Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abnadoned, stray, or feral cats in Southern Alerta.
We are committed to providing these animals with the necessary medical care, including spaying or nuetering and vaccinations, to ensure their health and well-being.
Adoption Policy
We begin by informing possible adopters to head to our website to see the cats that are available for adoption. If any catch tehir eye, they fill out an adoption application, which lets us know what cat or cats they are interested in, and tells us all about their household (is it busy or quiet, do they have young kids,, other cats or dogs, etc). Once we determine they would be a good match (not al cats are a good fit for all households and we want the best fit for our cats), we arrange a meet and greet at our Catty Shack (a barn building renovated into a temporary housing facility for up to 20 cats, but it is not open to the public, it is on private land). If they seem to get along at the meet and greet, we will do a trial adoption, and after 7-10 days we will reach out and chat about how things are going, any concerns they have, or if they are happy. If they are happy and want to adopt, we will finalize the adoption process and they will sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
