Welling's Story

Welling came to the rescue as a stray who had been living in someones backyard for a few years. He is extremely comfortable with people, but would do better as an only pet. He can get aggressive with other cats, and is still shy around dogs. Welling is FIV +, which means he has a weak immune system. It is a slow-acting virus that is species -specific and is mostly transmitted through deep bite wounds. FIV + can live long, normal lives with proper indoor care and regular vet check-ups. He is a sweet boy who loves to be loved and deserves a home of his own. He MUST be an indoor cat only due to the FIV.
