Charm is enjoying the retired life as a companion only gal. She is solid in her groundwork and is used in our Stable Foundations education program teaching beginners basic groundwork and horsemanship. Her specialty is teaching the more timid people to be more confident and assertive, seeing as how she is on the lazier side. Charm is the type of gal who will only give you what you ask for, no more, unless you really work for it. She knows her manners but won’t hesitate to make sure you know them, too, and will take advantage if you don’t enforce them. Charm needs a person who will take the time to groom her and hang out together, but will also be a strong leader worthy of her respect. Due to stiffness and significant arthritis, Charm is a companion only but pasture sound. Charm has daily medication for metabolic issues and will need care taken to abide by her dietary restrictions to keep her happy and healthy.

*At KYEAC, we require adopters to complete an inspection on the adopted horse 6 and 12 months following adoption. To ensure adopters comply with their inspections, a $250 deposit is required on all horses priced under $2,000, and a $500 deposit is required on all horses priced at $2,000 and up. This deposit is already calculated into the adoption fee. If the adopter complies with the inspections, this deposit will be fully refunded after the requirements of the 6 and 12-month inspection have been met to our satisfaction. If the adopter does not comply with their inspections, their deposit will be forfeited.
