Shaggy and Pickles are Miniature Donkeys. Shaggy is a 13 year old john (gelding) and the slightly larger, darker donkey. Pickles is a 10 year old jenny who has beautiful shoulder stripes. They are both gray.<br/>This sweet pair are the first donkeys I have met who are afraid of dogs. Usually donkeys are unconcerned, aggressive or somewhere in between when faced with dogs. Shaggy is especially rattled by even very small dogs. This can be a good thing if you want to be sure that your donkeys won't stomp your dogs!<br/>Otherwise, they are nice to handle, stand quietly for the vet and load well. They are good for three feet out of four when being trimmed... They have no known health issues and are current on hoof trims, dental floats and worming.
