Ray Ray's Story

CURRENT RIDER LEVEL: Beginner

Ray Ray is a 2006 Arabian gelding who stands at 14.2 hands tall and weighs 966lbs. Ray Ray (Rea Kadaal) is a handsome gelding who easily fits into a mixed heard of mares and hes playful with the geldings. Ray Ray is easy to catch and polite to lead. He stands quietly to groom and tack. Ray Ray does have high withers, with a significant sway back. He will need a thick pad meant for horses with a sway back and possibly an additional pad for extra comfort. With correct saddle fit, Ray Ray is comfortable as a riding horse. He rides best in a snaffle bit and seems to over react to any curb-strap pressure so we choose not to use one with him. Ray Ray stands to be mounted and has a forward trot and a very quick canter. He neck reins and responds to leg pressure. Ray Ray will trail ride but loves to contest more! He knows the barrel pattern and gets excited to run it. Ray Ray would be best matched with a beginner who likes to contest and trail ride.

To get approved, please complete a lifetime lease application and email it to info@wyhumane.org
Include with your completed application, pictures of your property including your barn, stall, or run-in shed, pasture, water source, and fencing both close up and a corner picture.

Links to the application and our policies.
