Pontiac's Story

Pontiac is a handsome 12-year-old, 15.1-hand pinto gelding who came to us alongside his longtime friend, Tulsa. While he is still new to our program and we're continuing to learn more about him, one thing is already certain: Pontiac is an absolute dreamboat.

Since arriving, Pontiac has been a pleasure to handle. He trailered well, leads respectfully, and although he was a little nervous at first, he stood nicely to have his feet handled. As he settles in, he continues to show us what a kind and enjoyable horse he is.

Pontiac has the personality many people look for in a gelding: curious, goofy, and friendly, with a calm, laid-back nature. He enjoys knowing what's going on around him and seems to take new experiences in stride. Everything about him suggests a horse that wants to be someone's partner.

While we're still learning about his training and experience, Pontiac seems willing to give his best effort in whatever direction his future owner may choose to take him. If he could make one request of potential adopters, it would be to consider bringing his older companion, Tulsa, along with him. The two arrived together and share a close bond, and Pontiac would undoubtedly appreciate having his longtime friend by his side as they begin their next chapter.

We look forward to learning more about this wonderful gelding and finding him a home where he can thrive.
