Howard's Story

Howard, also known to us as Howie, is a sweet Thoroughbred cross gelding. He is 9 years old. He is being adopted out as a companion due to confirmation issues and a mild case of roach back. But neither of these things slow him down when he's running around the paddock with his friends, he just looks adorably awkward. His mild personality has made him a wonderful companion to both geldings and mares. He is a bit of a goof ball and loves to be loved on. When he first came to us he didn't like to have his feet picked up, but we have been working on that every day and he has improved so much. His adopter will need to continue working on this with him and have a patient farrier that will do the same. He is up to date on vaccines, a dental and he is microchipped. If you would like more information on Howie or be interested in adopting, please email farmanimals@nhspca.org Primary Color: Chestnut Secondary Color: White Age: 9yrs 11mths 3wks Animal has been Neutered
