Feelin' Bulletproof (Whiskey)

Whiskey arrived in early April as a result of our existing auction fund and a national group that watches for Standardbreds at risk throughout the country. He is trained to ride but due to his weight and overgrown hooves, he needs some rehab time prior to our evaluation. He has cleared quarantine and been seen by both vet and farrier (as of mid May) and will be evaluated under saddle toward the end of the month.<br/><br/>Whiskey is currently, understandably, a bit standoffish and can be difficult to catch depending on the time of day - food definitely motivates him :)<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting Whiskey once he is evaluated and cleared to move to his new home, visit www.safeharborhorses.org .
