Dove's Story

Dove will be competing in the Showcase Division of the 2026 Dakota Showdown Horse Trainer Challenge with trainer Arryanna Schnetzer out of Springfield, SD. She will be available for adoption on August 23, 2026 at the Finale, through a bidding process to approved adopters.

Dove is a QH mare out of registered parents - dam Nikki Jo Gal and sire Hammer (2014) - but is not registered herself. She has a half sibling that has won a world championship in barrels and another half sibling that won a championship in hunter jumper, so Dove could really go any direction!

Dove is a kind, friendly and willing mare who is pretty uncomplicated. She's good for basic handling and will hopefully do well under saddle in training this summer.
