Daisy Chain's Story

Daisy Chain or 'DC' for short arrived to our facility in the beginning of February. He and Rummy were surrendered when their owner was unable to care for them.

DC is a 26 year old, 13 hand, Chincoteague Pony gelding who participated in the 2000 pony swim as a weanling. When was 3 he was bred, Rummy is his son. He was castrated shortly after that. He is halter broke, leads well, good for the vet/vaccines, and a little nervous for the farrier.

DC is ready for a new home and would love to be placed with his son if possible. These two are quite the handsome pair!

If you are interested in adopting one of our equines, please complete the equine placement on our website, www.lastchanceranch.org. Equine placement fees range from $150 to $2000 depending on the age, training and abilities of the equine. The placement fee includes current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming. All equine adopters must live within 3 hours of Last Chance Ranch in Quakertown, PA.
