Bess's Story
Bess is a 13 year old 14.2H Quarter Horse mare that has been used as a broodmare in previous years. She is a more go than whoa girl under saddle. She will do best with an experienced rider that can handle a little spicy red mare. She has a big stop and has some buttons. Neck reins well so she has some training. This girl is solid built. She stands for farrier, loads, easy to groom. Has a cataract in her right eye which has led to her being blind in that eye. It doesn't seem to affect her at all. I am guessing she has had the loss of sight for a while due to the adjustments she has made along the way. If you are looking for something with some go, she is your girl. Definitely a barrel racing prospect! She already got the hops ready for an alley.
